Did we really borrow the stimulus money from China?

Did we really borrow the stimulus money from China?
Is that true? If so, does that make anyone else want to puke? I think I might donate mine to some not-for profit.... I already know who I'm voting for. Do you have an answer for the question?

Hello, we are spending more than we are bringing in. The republicans and democrates both suck. They are both fiscially irresponsible. The last fiscally responsible president we had was Clinton. Vote libertarian to give us a fiscal chance. I don't think Obama or McCain are up to the task of economic responsibility. Fiscal irresponsibility and the hammering away at civil liberties is destroying freedom. God help us, God help us... And yes who else do you think is supplying the money for the tax rebate.

No...it is coming out of the general fund. You pay taxes into a fund which they call a "general fund" which in turn they disperse it out. This is where they all pulling it from.

It's a question of who is buying US debt in the form of treasury holdings (bonds, etc.). It looks to me that Japan has more US treasury holdings than China (but China is a close second). Check out this chart: http://www.treas.gov/tic/mfh.txt
