How do we know YA! isn't monitoring us the way they monitored for China?
Yahoo! monitored and REPORTS these unfortunate people that trusted them for China's Yahoo! so they could make money!! That is their EXCUSE!! These hopefull ones are probably in PRISON or dead, so do you think they do it also for the Government or any other entity that pays big $$ & wishes to find out our personal/private information? Can we trust our personal info is intact? I have identity theft and I'm tired of people selling my information, aren't you? Especially by people you trust...ugh

If Y!A wants to take anything I have stated here and share it with others, that's great. I have nothing to hide. If somehow I lived in a country that decided to censor my thoughts and expression in hideous ways, then I suppose I'd have to go underground and build up a force to overcome the government, or die trying. If the human beings that make up government somehow believe they have a right to go beyond what is reasonable in controlling me and all other citizens, then I must believe I have the right to defy them and attempt to censor their unreasonable use of force against me.

We don't know for sure, but It continues even though the YA! pr says it does not. Otherwise they would definitely NOT be allowed to continue thriving in China. Uncensored is YA! but they will report you and let them put these unfortunates in JAIL and most likely die. It is the worst thing to be is a political prisoner with this HEINOUS GOVERNMENT!! Any time I ask or answer a political question in the TRAVEL section in YA! it is answered by the same avatars with the same propaganda about how I am wrong. SICK!! They are probably the same ones who report these ones who wish for freedom and are dispensed with sumarily. China is a corrupt system that acts like a capitalist that takes away any possible rights of the people now that are in poverty!

The government doesn't need Yahoo to monitor these boards, if that's what you're implying. Anything posted publicly is publicly available. If they want it, they have a perfect right to see it. Using Yahoo is no different than shouting on a street corner, you have no privacy rights at all.
