If you buy popular say clothing from MANUFACTURES from China and open an online store and sell them for more will that work?

You will not be able to buy Name brand cloths at least not legally. And if you are importing yourself you will have to buy in large quantities to make the shipping charges viable.

Just make sure that you will not be buying from China the products of the following clothing brands -- because they are part of eBay's VERO program Verified Rights Owner Program and are VERY VIGILANT on sale of their products. If they think you are selling knockoff products -- and buying from China increases that likelihood -- they can ask eBay very easily to shut off your auctions.
