Is it possible to use PayPal to transfer money from China to the United States?
If so, how does this work? Are there any fees associated with this transaction? Is it a cost effective way to make such a transfer? My initial thoughts are: 1. Set up a PayPal account and fund it with Chinese currency from a Chinese bank account. 2. Set up a second PayPal account and connect it with a US bank account. 3. Make a PayPal (China) to PayPal (US) transfer. 4. Transfer PayPal (US) funds into US bank account. Is the above possible/allowed? If not, what is the best/easiest/most cost effective way to transfer money from China to a US bank account? I am aware that China is quite averse to having its currency leave the country.
