So where does China get the money from to buy American Bonds?
I thought China had smoggy air and no human rights, how can they afford to pay us money if their people only make like $5 a day??? wow, you're pretty good.

Sweetie, China is one of the fastest growing economies in the world! They have a population of more than a billion people and they have a very well conected network throughout the world. If you count in the revenue from the Olympic Games, you can surely see that China is one of the wealthiest and fastest growing economies. It is not about how much the people make. It is how much the government make. They have a very good work ethic as far as I understand. Hugs :-)

Because the $ goes to their leaders, not the people. The largest importer of Chinese goods is Wal-mart, and every time you buy something there, the money goes to China. The people who made those goods don't ever see a dime of it.

I believe you don't know China much. Why do you think China had smoggy air? As I know, the Chinese government is concentrated on economic development and making great progress in exporting, so they have much dollars. Many people make like $5 a day as their salaries, that's true, but the products they made could worth $50, even $500.
